My creative practice is interdisciplinary, experimental, research based and collaborative combining visual arts, sound, performance and storytelling woven within interactive installation. As a late diagnosed autistic, ADHD artist with dyslexia +synaesthesia, I explore hidden patterns, subversive systems and overlooked narratives revealed through immersive and participatory artworks. My work is shaped by the way I perceive and process the world, using innate pattern recognition, sensory translation, and non-linear storytelling to create experiences that are both documentary and conceptual. I investigate relationships between people, neurodiversity, place, memory, history, science, and perception. Utilising sound, still and moving imagery, light, movement, and tactile interaction, I seek to translate what often goes unseen or overlooked, whether that’s hidden histories, peoples overwritten narratives and perceptions, all woven within neurodivergent ways of processing, reimagining or understanding the world. My work invites, encourages, gives participants and audiences agency, permissions to engage, explore and play with alternative perspectives and connections that may exist between seemingly unrelated realms including intimate or challenging experience, emotion and belief.
