I am a theatre and event technician, producer, production manager and stage manager with a robust background in technical operations, administrative oversight, and venue management across a diverse range of venues. My professional journey has taken me from Portsmouth Guildhall and New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth to The Green and The Cabaret Bar at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Asuán Theatre in Jaén, Spain. These experiences have honed my expertise in managing events and venues of varying scales, capacities, and technical requirements.
I have a variety of experience in lighting, sound, projection and venue management, having good knowledge of software such as QLab and Capture. In my work I have used lighting desks such as Zero 88 Solution, Zero 88 Jester ML 1224, ETC Colorsource 20 and ETC Nomad Puck, and mixing desks including Yamaha QL1, Allen & Heath GL2800 and Soundcraft Spirit E8. I achieved a First Class Graduate in BA (Hons) Drama and Performance from the University of Portsmouth in 2023, specialising and focusing on technical theatre and venue and company management.
My passion for the creative industries is matched by my enthusiasm for working in education and with young people, encouraging their creativity and supporting their development. I have actively contributed to educational initiatives and community projects, aligning with my commitment to cultural enrichment and education. Some examples of my work include Team Leader for the NCS programme, Creative Project Lead at Official Language School Xauen in Jaén, Spain, Creative Assistant for the 'Take the Helm' programme by Portsmouth City Council, as well as, several volunteering positions across primary, secondary and language schools.
