Bradley Barlow
Bradley Barlow is a writer, performer, designer and director based in Portsmouth and was formerly Artistic Director of Pitchy Breath Theatre Company from 2016 to 2020.
Bradley focuses mainly on playwriting. His first play, The Family, debuted in 2009 and a revival run in 2010 won an Accolade of Excellence at the National Operatic and Dramatic Awards. Bradley has since written 143 Seconds in 2011, Dead Leaves in 2014, and short play That Night in 2016, all for Pitchy Breath Theatre Company. The Last Time We Saw You debuted for Pitchy Breath in April 2017, receiving a 5-star review. In 2018, Monsters: a Modern Frankenstein Story was toured, celebrating the 200-year anniversary of Mary Shelley’s classic novel.
In 2020, Bradley was scheduled to write and perform Screwed, a new one-man play about male mental health but this was postponed due to the pandemic – a project he hopes to revisit at a later date.
In 2022, The Legend of Grimm’s Tales, was performed by a cast of professional and community performers. His most recent play, A Stranger in our House, debuted in January 2023.
